Loyal partner since 2017, Advens accompanies the navigator Thomas Ruyant with a performance objective in his conquest of the Vendée Globe – around the world sailing solo, non-stop and without assistance -, aboard an IMOCA with foils latest generation, a real block of new technologies.

In January 2020, at the dawn of an unprecedented health crisis and while 5 million french were already in a situation of isolation, they chose to offer the visibility and naming of the boat to LinkedOut, a positive tech device created by the Entourage association that supports isolated and precarious people in their return to work.

Behind this founding gesture, the desire to use the media power and the mobilizing force of a great challenge to initiate a real race for change in favor of inclusion!

“The visibility provided by the boat is incredible: it allowed the program to take on a whole new dimension! We experienced it in 2020 with the Vendée Globe, then again during the Transat Jacques Vabre 2021. The benefits are unprecedented”

Amandine Milcent • LinkedOut Project Director at Entourage

La Course Au Changement, what is it ?

It is to mobilize and engage as many people as possible to allow social inclusion to change scale in France:

  • By federating hundreds of companies in the fight against exclusion
  • By putting thousands of precarious people back to work by giving them back a network by massively sharing their CVs
  • By spreading the message as widely as possible to change the general public’s view of the excluded

“Advens’ contribution is a step forward, but this sponsorship must attract even more companies and encourage them to become inclusive. In a new context, companies no longer have a choice and must serve society even more.”

Alexandre Fayeulle • President & Founder of Advens

Participating in The Course au Changement makes the opportunity for our employees to make a concrete commitment to inclusion. Everyone has the opportunity to live up to their desires, skills and/or availability to engage with LinkedOut: awareness of inclusion, volunteer coaching of LinkedOut candidates, skills sponsorship, recruitment of candidates, spokespersons of the device, sharing of CVs and activation of networks, collections and donations…

Safety for performance

Advens for Cybersecurity – renamed LinkedOut in January 2020 – is a 60-foot IMOCA monohull, plan Verdier 2019. It took 50,000 hours of work for the Persico Marine shipyard in Bergamo and the TR Racing team in Lorient to build this new generation boat with majestic foils, a true concentrate of high technology.

The sensors on board and in the race generate a multitude of data that, well processed, returned and protected, make it possible to bring the boat and its skipper a real gain in performance and safety: incidence of foils, adjustment and optimization of sails, detection of OFNI, fatigue management and sleep optimization…

The Advens R&D teams apply their know-how by working hand in hand with the TR Racing team.
